Let's build a better Rancho Murieta.

For over 50 years, Rancho Murieta has prided itself on a quality way of life that balances community growth with the conservation of our natural landscapes. Join the effort to complete our community while preserving our open spaces and the scenic trails that connect us to nature.

Our Mission

We’re committed to completing the number of homes in our approved community plan while protecting our natural surroundings. Find out how we’re accomplishing this and enhancing the Rancho Murieta lifestyle.

An Open Letter To Rancho Murieta

Long-time resident, Carol Anderson Ward penned an open letter to Rancho Murieta to address efforts to develop the community sustainably. Since 2012, Ward and her team have reduced the number of planned homes to preserve open spaces and protect local wildlife habitats. They have invested over $5 million in essential water infrastructure and support the 2024 Integrated Master Plan. Ward emphasizes that developing remaining lots will bring revenue to ensure the community’s economic prosperity.

Safeguarding and Sustaining Our Water

We know water use is a concern for all Californians. From the beginning, Rancho Murieta has been a careful steward of our water supply. We’ve included current and future usage in our community planning, and our Integrated Water Master Plan accounts for climate risks like droughts, ensuring a sustainable supply for all residents.

Preserving Our Open Spaces

Rancho Murieta offers—and will continue to protect—acres of stunning natural spaces for our residents to enjoy. Our community plan has always included keeping the Rancho Murieta North Development as a local wildlife habitat with natural walkways, and adding more recreational spaces and trails and preserving oak trees that cannot be replaced by new homes.

“Well, I think it’s [growth] needed. But there’s a happy medium and the plans that I’ve seen, I think it’s the right avenue to go down.”

Mark Kendro, 26-year resident Owner, Go 4 Pizza

“Growth would contribute to not only the economic growth, but also socially. There would be so many more things available to our community.”

Joëlle Maggio, 18-year resident Operations Manager, Town and Country Real Estate

“I think the more people you have out here, the more rooftops, the more you support the businesses, the more you support the country club. And it keeps the cost down for everybody.”

Richard Dubey 43-year resident

“Rancho Murieta Country Club is the hub of the community… It’ll help the country club by boosting the numbers of the members… so that we can add [new] amenities.”

Brian Little Head Golf Professional, Rancho Murieta Country Club

Enriching the Rancho Murieta Lifestyle

Our community has distinguished itself as an ideal place to raise families and live the American dream. By completing it and adding new homes, we will reinvigorate membership at the Rancho Murieta Country Club and help other beloved social gathering spaces thrive.

Increasing Local Amenities

Over the years, we’ve drawn a variety of premium establishments, giving us more shopping and dining options. Completing our community will continue to attract big and small businesses to our area, expanding our local amenities and adding value not just to our quality of life but also to our homes and community.
